Google bans Russians from creating new accounts using a Russian phone number.

On September 12, sanctions from the U.S. Treasury Department come into effect, banning the provision of software and IT services to anyone within Russia.

There will be a boom in SIM card demand in Kazakhstan and neighboring countries, as they don't abandon friends in need.
