2 undecillion rubles
This sounds like an interstellar amount—somewhere between the galactic empire's fantasy budget and a regular gas station receipt in Moscow by week's end. While Google calculates if their servers can even store that many zeros, we might as well sit back and wait for this mountain of rubles to approach, say, a thousand bucks.
Russian state TV has unveiled a new "business plan": suing Google for a sum of 2 undecillion rubles. This is more than the total loot of the Caribbean pirates, the entire U.S. gold reserve, and all conceivable dragon hoards combined!
The fine, which begins modestly at 100,000 rubles, grows like a snowball on a steep mountain—doubling every week with no upper limit in sight.
The courtroom scene unfolded like theater. The judge, upon seeing the infinite stream of zeros, remarked, "This case has, uh... a lot of zeros." In the background, someone was already whispering that even a 13 decillion ruble fine (with 33 zeros!) would be a strong contender. The irony, of course, is that the penalty keeps doubling each week for every day Google delays payment, and who knows if there are even enough zeros in the global accounting books to keep up.
But over at Google, they’re probably thinking that even the legendary Captain Flint wouldn't take two undecillion rubles quite so seriously.
