Between 2:00 PM on December 12 and 10:00 AM on December 13, 2024, the enemy launched a combined air attack on Ukraine, utilizing various types of missiles and strike drones.
During this period, the Air Force’s radio-technical troops detected 287 enemy air assault weapons: 94 missiles and 193 UAVs. Here’s the breakdown:
- 4 Kh-47M2 “Kinzhal” aeroballistic missiles launched from MiG-31K fighters (launch area: Tambov region, Russia).
- 2 Iskander-M ballistic missiles (launch areas: Bryansk region, Russia; occupied Crimea).
- 1 KN-23 ballistic missile (launch area: Bryansk region).

The attack was repelled by air defense forces, fighter aviation, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire teams of the Ukrainian Air Force and Defense Forces, with notable contributions from F-16 fighters.
💥 As of 11:30 AM, the confirmed takedowns include:
- 80 cruise missiles (Kh-101/Kh-55SM/Kalibr/Iskander-K).
- 1 Iskander-M ballistic missile.
- 80 strike UAVs (Shahed-type and others).
Additionally, 105 enemy drones were neutralized before reaching their targets, likely due to active interference by Ukraine’s Defense Forces. Among these, five drones were forced to return to Russia, and one made its way back to Belarus.
Once again, the enemy’s missile-and-drone assault primarily targeted Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.
💪 Every shot counts, and every defense system is making a difference. The skies over Ukraine remain contested—but not conquered.
