As the New Year approaches, the dedicated warriors of IT ARMY continue their steadfast cyber battle. This week, we eagerly honor those who have made the most significant contributions to our cause. Leaders across the Distress, mhddos, and X100 operations have generated enormous volumes of traffic, showcasing their unwavering commitment.
In particular, participants in the Distress attacks, such as frost1, les3gon_ca_ua, and FireStranger, have displayed incredible skill by generating massive amounts of data. Watching their achievements, it’s hard not to highlight the collective efforts of mhddos participants, including UkrByte and littlest_giant, whose strength and determination exemplify the power of our team.
Equally important were the contributions from the X100 participants, especially UkrByte, who showcased their talents with significant data uploads. This week serves as a testament to what our brave members can accomplish as they contribute to our shared success.
As we reflect on the past year, we can proudly say that our leaders together generated an astonishing 118 petabytes of traffic, enough data for 30 million movies! Remembering the most powerful DDoS attack in history, which took place on August 18, 2023, against Google Cloud CDN, it becomes clear that only with our support could it have lasted over 134 hours.
