For the first time in history, Russians are paying more taxes than their companies.

The Russian Federal Tax Service reported that in 2024, personal income tax (PIT) revenues reached 8.4 trillion rubles, while corporate profit tax brought in only 8.1 trillion. Previously, it was the other way around, but it seems businesses found ways to dodge taxes, while ordinary citizens had nowhere to hide.
