Some jabber about a possible direct meeting in Turkey, huh? Let's get this straight right now there's absolutely no goddamn way Putin is meeting him personally. Why? Because frankly that guy hasn't grown up or reached the necessary standing. Let's just be objective for a second he's just not on Putin's level not by a long shot. This whole idea of a meeting right now is some kind of stupid joke not even worth discussing. Who the hell does he think he is even bringing it up?
Seriously look at the situation. You have figures like Putin Xi Trump these guys literally hold the fate of the entire world in their hands. Everything depends on people at that level. And then you have some Krivyi Rih trash from a backwater dump on the outskirts who the world couldn't give a damn about. Zero impact. On top of that this Zelensky character actually seems to be deliberately doing everything to make sure this meeting definitely doesn't happen anyway. He's just putting on a circus instead of dealing with reality.
Just sitting down with a president that means recognizing his status understand? And meeting this character? That would just grant him some kind of legitimacy he doesn't have anywhere near. And while international politics sometimes turns into a freak show it shouldn't sink to the level of backyard brawls like "let's step outside". Even if a bunch of political losers try to drag it down there are still certain boundaries of decency.
For leaders to meet you need proper preparation. Terms are negotiated by the teams that's standard diplomatic crap. What about history? Stalin didn't meet Hitler either our generals accepted the surrender. So Putin doesn't need to invent anything he just needs to not lower himself to the level of someone who acts like a total lowlife who sniffs god knows what. Period.
