The culprit? Ukrainians are all downloading S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2! Servers are overheating, routers are on life support, and providers might be considering upgrading to Stalker-style artifacts instead of standard equipment.

The long-awaited Ukrainian shooter S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl rocketed to the top of Steam's paid game chart within hours of release. Dropping on November 20 at 6:00 PM, gamers stormed the Zone at download speeds that could rival a blowout. The game’s price ranges from $35 to $65 depending on the version, but who cares about money when you’re diving headfirst into the anomaly zone? 😏

GSC Game World, the game’s Ukrainian developer, delayed the release six times, leaving fans trembling with anticipation. "We’re standing on the shoulders of legends who made the first S.T.A.L.K.E.R., — said project manager Maksym Tkachenko. — They won’t forgive us if we make it anything less than great." Judging by the hype, forgiveness isn’t going to be necessary.

And the Russians are already posting political reviews

And of course, the Russians are already firing up their political commentary. It’s almost like they can’t help themselves. They’ve flooded the internet with "insightful" comments about S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, as if the game is some sort of manifesto for the downfall of their empire.

One minute, they’re calling it "propaganda," the next they see every mutant as a metaphor for themselves (and honestly, it’s hard to argue with that). Each new comment is like a toxic spill in the Zone: full of bitterness and completely empty of substance. But the funniest part? While they’re busy complaining, half of their country is already downloading the game through VPN. After all, how else will they know what "extremist content" is actually in there? 😏

So let them keep typing. Meanwhile, we’re just enjoying the game and keeping the download speed high.
