Additionally, five Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles came from the Tambov region, four Kalibr cruise missiles from the Black Sea, one Iskander-K from Millerovo, and fourteen Kh-101 cruise missiles from Saratov.
The formidable task of repelling this assault fell to Ukraine's unwavering _Defense Forces_. Their comprehensive response involved fighter jets, sophisticated anti-aircraft missile systems, specialized _electronic warfare_ units, and agile mobile fire groups. This coordinated effort proved crucial in mitigating the widespread danger. As dawn broke on July 21, preliminary reports confirmed the remarkable success of Ukraine's Air Defense. By 9:30 AM, a staggering 224 means of enemy air attack had been either intercepted or _suppressed_.
A significant portion of these neutralized threats consisted of 200 strike Shahed drones. Furthermore, the overwhelming majority of incoming missiles were successfully shot down by anti-aircraft defenses, with the rest rendered ineffective by _electronic warfare_ or lost location, reporting no impacts. Crucially, an additional 203 drone-imitators completely failed to reach their intended objectives.
