Propaganda is an integral part of modern conflicts, shaping narratives and influencing the perception of events both domestically and internationally. Amid escalating tensions in the Middle East, Iranian state and propaganda channels actively employ various tactics to sway public opinion. Examples of such actions demonstrate a striking level of manipulation and the creation of an alternative reality.

One notable example is the dissemination of images and claims about allegedly shot-down F-35 fighter jets. Iranian media have repeatedly claimed that Iranian air defense forces shot down F-35 aircraft and even captured their pilots. Some reports asserted the downing of up to three F-35 jets and the capture of two pilots, including a female pilot. Such claims were often accompanied by the circulation of photographs purportedly showing the pilot of a downed F-35. These assertions, however, have been strongly refuted, described as completely baseless and fake. Analysis of these images often indicates their inauthenticity or the use of artificial intelligence technologies.

Another example illustrating the efforts of Iranian propaganda is the attempt to justify hits on civilian objects. In certain cases, Iranian propaganda materials try to "excuse" strikes on residential buildings by claiming that aircraft took off from them. This tactic is an attempt to shift responsibility or justify potential civilian casualties by presenting residential areas as legitimate military targets.

These examples underscore that Iranian propaganda actively works to create an information environment favorable to itself. The goal of such activity is to boost the morale of its own population, demonstrate military power and effectiveness, and discredit adversaries on the international stage. In modern information warfare, where speed and visual content play a key role, the dissemination of such statements and images becomes a powerful tool of influence.
