as the sailors were expecting help from a Norwegian ship. However, it turned out that the entire crew of that ship was from Kaliningrad. So, despite the claim of "we don't leave our own behind," in this case, due to nationality, they chose not to rescue the sailors.
There’s been a lot of talk online about how the Russians are upset that a Norwegian ship didn’t rescue their sailors from the recently sunk Ursa Major. According to them, the ship should’ve helped, since we’re all one nation, right?
But surprise, surprise: the entire crew of the Norwegian ship was from Kaliningrad. So, technically, they didn’t leave their own behind… they just seemed to think "their own" only matters when it’s someone steering the ship!
“We don’t leave our own behind”... until "our own" has a different flag, and even during a rescue operation, you might just get left behind. Funny how loyalty works when it’s a matter of nationality! 😂
