We want to highlight the scale of Russian air aggression. Over three years of war, Russia has dropped 67,000 guided aerial bombs on Ukrainian territory, launched thousands of missiles of various types, and 22,400 "Shahed" attack UAVs.
These daily air battles have meant that our Air Force has practically exhausted its stock of missiles for Soviet-era air defense systems. Now, our warriors primarily rely on partner support for the continued supply of Western systems, and crucially, missiles for them, to strengthen Ukrainian air defense.
The enemy continues to terrorize our people with air strikes, and we urgently need more protection for our country, our cities, and our children! This is also vital for the stability of Europe and the entire civilized world!
Our soldiers have proven they can quickly master Patriot, F-16, NASAMS, and other advanced weaponry, and most importantly, effectively use it against the so-called "second army" of the world.
The numbers are staggering, and here are some of them! Since February 24, 2022, our Air Force, together with the Air Defense of the Ukrainian Defence Forces, has shot down:
2,496 cruise missiles;
465 guided aerial missiles;
97 ballistic missiles;
40 Kh-47M2 "Kinzhal" aeroballistic missiles;
17,575 "Shahed" type attack UAVs.
It's worth emphasizing that the vast majority of these downed targets are thanks to the arrival of modern anti-aircraft missile systems and missiles from our partners!
